Spraying drones for winegrowers – Seeland wine region
To counteract rising production costs in viticulture, winegrowers are also dependent on innovation and new technologies. Switzerland has almost 15,000 hectares of land planted with vines. Nationally, the largest wine-growing regions are (in alphabetical order): Aargau, Bern, the Three Lakes Region, Geneva, Graubünden, Lucerne, Schaffhausen, Ticino, Vaud, Valais, and Zurich. The local vineyards in the municipalities of Ligerz, Twann, and Tüscherz-Alfermée on the left bank of Lake Zurich alone comprise over 105.5 hectares of vines.
Digitalization in agriculture is in full swing. Drones play an important role in this.
Trenderia GmbH – Drones for authorities and industry, offers hardware from the market leader DJI the ideal spray drones to Viticulture, arable farming, fruit growing or forestry to manage and support crops from the air. The advantages of a drone are obvious: crops such as vines are often difficult to access and located on varying slopes; moreover, drones are very precise and safe.
The advantages of aerial crop protection
- Efficient
- No ground pressure
- Precise application of pesticides
- No pollutant emissions
- Reduced self-exposure (users are protected from spray mist)
- Savings in time, labor and therefore money
The drone systems of DJI They can be used in a versatile, safe and precise manner.
Our spray drones are used for
- Aerial crop protection
- Aerial shading (greenhouses)
- Aerial control of the European corn borer
- Bark beetle early detection
- Scattering, for example, slug pellets
- sowing
Drone systems for agriculture – DJI Agras T20
The Agras T20 drone is a very precise and highly efficient spraying drone for use in agriculture and is ideally suited for applying pesticides. The T20 from DJI It features an omnidirectional 360° radar that automatically detects obstacles and difficult terrain. The radar visualizes the terrain for the drone using a 3D point cloud.
The Agras T20 can cultivate approximately 12 hectares of land per hour. The spraying rate is approximately 6 liters per minute.
The integrated spray system features increased spray accuracy, an electromagnetic 4-channel flow meter, offers various spray modes and automatic venting of the spray system at the touch of a button.
The highlights of DJI Agras T20 spray drone
- foldable
- IP67 Waterproof (Washable Drone)
- 12 hectares per hour
- 4 Channel Flow Control
- 360° Radar – Independent obstacle detection in 3D, day and night
- Integrated flight planning accurate to the centimeter
- Fly at the touch of a button
- Automatic execution of flight plans that have been previously stored
- T20 Add-On seeding system with even distribution (Max. distribution: 10kg/min)
The spray drones are controlled by the system from the Enterprise Series known Smart remote control of the Matrice 300 series.
The advantages of the controller
- Ultra-bright screen even in sunlight
- RTK-GNSS Dongle
- Replaceable battery for seamless operation
- 4G SIM card slot
Combined with the right software and a Phantom 4 multispectral drone, the systems work even more efficiently and precisely.
